The love story behind the drawing “Clutch”
“Clutch” 8 x 14
Charcoal & White Pastel on Paper
“Clutch” represents our conscious and unconscious behavior, tendencies, and habits surrounding love.
Often, we hold on tightly to the things we love most with intentions to protect, secure, and safeguard them - this is represented by the firm grip depicted in the piece.
However, while doing so, we sometimes cause more harm than intended, damaging and hurting the thing we love most - This is depicted by the juice dripping from the hands, as the delicate and fragile grapes are being crushed.
